Fireworks Ordinance Updated 2022
6/1/2022
HB172 also grants municipalities the options of banning fireworks altogether within their borders, designating when it’s permissible to shoot off fireworks or adopting their own rules.
Municipalities across the state of Ohio have the opportunity to make
amateur fireworks displays legal around certain holidays starting July
4. Many municipalities across the state are planning to opt
out of those new laws for their community’s safety.
Brooklyn Heights Officials have passed an ordinance to opt out of the laws legalizing fireworks after consulting with the Chiefs of the Fire Department and Police.
