During my inspections in the village I noticed several electric meters being pulled away from the house.
This situation occurs in older homes with underground service entrance cable. Due to ground settling and shifting the conductors are placed under tension and stress causing wires to become exposed and unprotected.
If not repaired, conductors could over time become disconnected and cause a potentially harmful and dangerous short.
