Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (CVCC) All students ages 16 and older seeking full-time, part-time, or seasonal employment are invited to attend. Technology Workshops for Students:

March 18, 2017 - Programming, Webpage with Animations, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at CVCC $30 includes programming workbook, supplies and snack.
For students in grades 5-8.
Learn to code using Notepad, add images and links to a webpage, and create animations of favorite furry friends.

College Survival Skills Seminar

Wednesday, April 19 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

This seminar is for college bound high school seniors and their parents.  At this free seminar attendees will learn how to make a successful transition from high school to college and hear from a panel of experts. High school students will also have the opportunity to participate in college reality simulation led by current college students and hear them discuss what they wish they knew BEFORE their first year of college.  Additionally, a Dean of Students will speak about the differences between high school and college, a college police officer will discuss campus safety/legal aspects of being 18, and a financial planner will discuss how to handle personal finances. Summer Career Camps: June 12-16 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and June 19-23 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at CVCC $195.00 In-District, $205.00 Out-of-District, $15.00 Early Bird Discount if registered by MARCH 24
Summer Career Camps are for students entering grades 5-10 in the Fall.
These camps are a fun way for students to "try on" a career in a given field with hands-on projects and field trips.

Web Design and Animation -Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. April 11 - September 7. at CVCC Learn to design quality web pages, create animations and maintain web design standards, HTML and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Graphic Design for Print and Web Production-Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. -9:30 p.m. April 27 - October 2. at CVCC In this hands-on program, learn to create a number of graphic design projects for print production. Coding Boot Camp

Class is held Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00p.m. June 12 – September 15

This is a 14-week full-time course where students will learn web application development, including programming basics, front end development, server and API development. Upon completion students will be prepared to earn a JavaScript industry standard certification.
