The Annual Hope Tree
11/4/2016
The community once again came together to ensure that the families in the village that are struggling have gifts under the tree.
Businesses, Service Clubs, residents, employees of Brooklyn Heights and even Cuyahoga Heights provided gifts and monetary support.
Each year, The Hope Tree gives the opportunity to share the Christmas spirit with disadvantaged families in our community. It provides much needed clothing items, special needs gifts and other wished-for toys to our Brooklyn Heights children.
The Hope Tree was decorated with numbered paper gift tags with the age, gender and gift wish for each family member. Those that wanted to help took one or more tags, purchased and wrapped the gift, and placed it back under the tree with the paper gift tag taped to the bottom of the gift.
