Fire Department

Brooklyn Heights Fire Department includes a talented twenty-seven member force. Of the twenty-seven, twenty-two are Certified Paramedics, and five are Certified EMTs. Nineteen of the Fire Fighters also work full-time positions in neighboring community Fire Departments.

To ensure the safety of all residents and civilians in the Brooklyn Heights area, the Brooklyn Heights Fire Department works two twelve-hour shifts each day, seven days a week. There are three members on duty at all times. Of the members on duty, at least one is a paramedic.
