The Mayor's Court for the Village of Brooklyn Heights normally meets twice a month on Thursdays (see court schedule for actual dates) at 9:30 a.m. 5-day hearings are held every Thursday, as needed, at 9:30 a.m. If you were issued a citation, the court date and time appears in the lower right corner. Please call the Clerk of Court office to see if a court appearance is required: 216-749-4300.
If your ticket is not a required court appearance, you may pay your ticket before the court date that is listed on your ticket.
Acceptable forms of payment are cash, money order and personal check.
All checks returned for nonpayment for any reason will result in the assessment of additional fees and charges to the original fines and costs and may further result in additional legal action.
To pay a ticket by mail:
- Include your ticket
- Make your check or money order payable to the Village of Brooklyn Heights for the total amount due. Make sure that your check is signed.
