2001 Ladder Truck

2001 Ladder Truck

This is the newest truck in the Fire Department fleet. It replaced the 1973 vehicle that was no longer NFPA compliant. Because this vehicle has an eighty-five foot ladder, it serves as a multi-use truck. It is capable of delivering 2000 gallons of water per minute. This vehicle also carries the Jaws-of-Life used for victims that are trapped in a motor vehicle accident. Engine 49 is equipped with all motor vehicle accident equipment.
