 Annual Village Garage Sale
Brooklyn Heights holds a village-wide garage sale annually in August. Every household is welcome to participate by placing signs or balloons to bring attention to your sale. There is no cost to participate and you do not need a Garage Sale Permit for this particular sale. The village places an ad in the local newspaper to publicize the event.
Each year's Village Garage Sale is advertised on brooklynhts.org, The Village of Brooklyn Heights Official Facebook Page and the Breeze.
Brooklyn Heights also now offers a continuous online marketplace via the Brooklyn Heights and Surrounding Areas Resale Facebook Page. You can visit this page and join by clicking HERE
Households are permitted to hold two garage sales per year and a PERMIT is required.
If you would like your garage sale noted on the village website, please submit your information to webmaster@brooklynhts.org at least two weeks prior to your sale.
