REMINDER- It is illegal to discharge grass clippings in the street. Not only does it look bad but it is a safety hazard for motorcyclists. Section 660.035 of The Brooklyn Heights Codified Ordinances state in part:
No person shall cast away or dump any grass clippings or other articles of a similar nature upon any street or highway or upon any property within the Village belonging to another person. It is a minor misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $150.
