Kelli Stack Jachym to be inducted into the Women's Beanpot Hall of Fame

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College women's hockey alumna Kelli Stack Jachym '11 will be inducted into the Women's Beanpot Hall of Fame on Tuesday, Feb. 4, as announced Monday by Hockey East.

Stack will be joined by Boston University's Reagan Rust, Northeastern's Casey Pickett Bates and Harvard's Joe Bertagna in the Hall of Fame Class of 2020.

The Brooklyn Heights, Ohio native was a two-time All-American for Boston College from 2006-11. She helped the Eagles to three Beanpot titles in her time on the Heights (2007, 2009 and 2011). Stack, who recorded 14 points on seven goals and seven assists in eight Beanpot games, was named the Beanpot MVP in 2009.

She was named the Hockey East Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year for the 2006-07 season and went on to become a three-time Player of the Year (2006-07, 2008-09, 2010-11), making her the only player in league history – men's or women's – to be a three-time player of the year and one of only three players to win Rookie and Player of the Year at the same time. The two-time Hockey East scoring champion was also a 2011 Patty Kazmaier Award Top-3 Finalist. Stack graduated as BC's all-time leader in points (209), goals (98) and assists (111) and still ranks fourth in goals, third in points and fifth in assists in the record books. She was inducted into the BC Varsity Club Hall of Fame this past fall.

As a member of the U.S. Women's National Team, Stack earned a silver medal in 2010 and the 2014 Olympics and was a member of five gold-medal winning World Championship squads.

A recent graduate of the Police Academy, she just began her career as a police officer in her native Ohio.
