Project Hope Pantry Information

1/1/2021 PROJECT HOPE PANTRY & PROGRAMS

The Project Hope Food Pantry, located in the Community Services office, is available for residents per these eligibility guidelines:
$24,979 for a one-person household, $33,819 for a two person household and $42,659 for a three-person household and so on. Add $8,840 for each additional person in the household.

We encourage anyone in the community that needs a little extra help to utilize the Pantry. There are plenty of items for anyone that needs them.

The pantry contains meat, dairy items, canned goods, paper products and personal hygiene items.
If you meet these guidelines you can shop the pantry for free groceries, by appointment. Visitors are escorted to the Pantry, a small room behind the Community Services office. We close the doors to the Service Garage and the Pantry door to help ensure your privacy. You are then free to select the items you need. We operate a "Client Choice" pantry.

We contract with the Cleveland Food Bank and receive much of our food free or at a minimal cost through this agreement. This includes USDA and other food programs. In addition, generous donations are received from residents, CVCC and CHS, local businesses, the Men's and Women's Service clubs and Scout projects.

There is no charge for this service, and all information is kept strictly confidential.

Other programs offered through Project Hope for residents is the Back to School Backpack & School Supplies program, Coats and Boots for Kids, Thanksgiving Meal Items, and the Christmas Wish Tree. Pantry visits are scheduled, by appointment only. Please call (216) 739-3702 to schedule an appointment.
We sincerely thank our supporters that directly help their neighbors with their generosity.
